How Can I get Involved with the AirPower West Scholarship Program Summary?
If you would like to help APW with this program, there are 3 great ways to do so:
1) Help raising funds for the program
To make this program successful we have to raise money to pay for the expenses and for the actual scholarship awards every year. Come join the Scholarship Committee and help us come us with fun and profitable ways to raise the needed funds. If you would like to join the Scholarship Committee, email Scholarships@AirPowerWest.org and we will include you on all emails and meeting notices.
2) Be part of the application review and award selection committee each year
Every year a small group is selected from the Scholarship Committee to review all the incoming applications, interview applicants and determine who will be awarded the scholarship(s) for that year. If you would like to join the Scholarship Committee, email Scholarships@AirPowerWest.org and we will include you on all emails and meeting notices.
3) Become an individual or corporate donor or sponsor of the program.
We are always looking for individuals or businesses that would like to donate items to our fundraisers (like the the annual silent auction) or just make a cash donation to help fund the program. Sponsors and Donors are always listed on our website "Sponsors and Donors" page, and since APW is a 501C3 Non-Profit organization, any donations may be tax deductible (consult your tax advisor). Refer to the Sponsors and Donors page for information on making donations or becoming a sponsor or just email the committee chair at Scholarships@AirPowerWest.org.
